SASCH AND I WERE INTERVIEWED FOR ESSENCE OF STYLE SL MAGAZINE

My partner in crime in owning DJ World and I were interviewed for the popular SL Magazine called Essence of Style for the May 2010 issue. This was pretty cool cause one of our DJ World DJs works for that magazine. Agatha Klees conducted the interview and photoshoot. Sasch Petrov and I had a blast and joked around while changing clothing.

This is prettyu good timing for the interview as our DJ Nights will take a two month break. Don't worry we will have DJ World 4 hour sessions for both June and July. Then we come back strong to start the 4th year of DJ Nights in August hoooo!!

DJ NIGHT 26 WAS AMAZING!!

I have to say this was one of the best DJ World DJ Nights I ever had the privilege to be involved in, coordinate, and party down at. All the DJs were intense and the crowds was cool. I love how some new people were coming out of the portal on Pride sim (which is where we held it this month) and started asking questions, dancing, and having a great time. We had one grief incident but that was quickly dealt with and the fun never stopped.

Thx to all the DJs, GA Clubs, Staff, and Party goers for an awesome 12 hours of fun. Keep the parties live and always have a great time no matter what and where you are at.

At some of my DJ Sets lately I have been playing some Erika Jayne - Pretty Mess. I found the original on YouTube and OMG it is the same beat as the remix and club mix. This makes me happy in my pants!! I really fell in love with the song, the lyrics, and her voice when I got my June Promos for Mainstream Club this month. Enjoy the Video and song. MONDAY NIGHT BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR MY BUD DJ SASCH @ PRIDE SIM

Monday night I got to DJ a great event. I got to walk in Sasch Petrov's shoes for one night DJing his usual set for Ironwork's Cabaret Night. No Sasch was not sick or away in RL. It was his real life birthday. A week ago I was asked by Kharissa Indigo to DJ this event. Normally I do The Hidden Door at The Gayborhood, But I asked BigDaddy to have the night off to do this Birthday event, and he said yes. Big thanks to the cool dudes of the Gayborhood for allowing me to have the night off, so I can help celebrate the Birthday of one of my closest friends and DJ World owning partner.

The Night was amazing. Many people turned out to wish Sasch a Happy Birthday. The Stage performances were amazing to from a large Cabaret number to the Golden Girls dancing to "Thank You For Being A Friend!"

My favorite was the German numbers that was performed, and Of course Van as Marlene Dietrich. I played some of Sasch's favorite songs between performance numbers and a great mix after the last performance. I hope my buddy had a great night. It was truly one of the best Birthday Celebrations I have ever seen on SL. Big thanks to Marcus, MeatJocky, Phillip, Kharissa and all the Ironworkers and Pride Gateway peeps for pulling this off. Even some Noobies got intot he fun, which is always a good thing. Enjoy the pics! Some were taken by me and others by Sasch and Phil.

MY LATE NIGHT SET AT THE WEEK-END CLUB ON BOYSTOWN

I really enjoy doing 10pm - midnight SL Time parties. Don't get me wrong I love the big 30 - 50 avatar blow outs and rocking tunes to a large crowd. However, by the end of the night I love chilling out, rocking some tunes for a 10 - 15 person crowd, and conversing more than going all DJ persona like. Well that was the Week-End in a nutshell. This same thing happens at my TBone set as well. Nice small crowd and some great fun. Last week at the Grand Opening there were alot of people. but this week nice and comfy. Both were awesome, and both I enjoyed.

As you all know I am a living dichotomy. I love the best of both and different opposite worlds...NO! I am not Bi LOL!! I am just saying i love yin and yangs, polar opposites, and Black and White in every aspect of what I do. Hell I am a Mac, Linux, PC person LOL. Anyways we had some great conversations about travels and SL to RL meet ups. Musical tastes, TV shows, etc... There was more talk than gestures, and I even forgot to voice on the stream for 50 minutes LOL.

Hope you all come down to the Week-End club if you are ever awake late or early enough (depending where you are in the world), cause it is an awesome time and if you love to chat and hear great tunes then you are in for a world of luck ;) Enjoy the pics!

I'M A HUGE ANIME AND ACTION CARTOON FAN...BUT THEN I SAW THIS...

This is just wrong on so many levels....but OMG it is funny as hell!!

LAZY SUNDAY SO WENT SURFING WITH MY COUSIN SONKO!

What am I doing when not DJing? Well, Sunday was fun and relaxing. I did do my usual Sunday afternoon set at Arsenal, then went into RL and cuddled with my hubby and watched Sherlock Holmes....Yes Great Movie and it so needs a sequel!! Then I came on SL after a nap and found my cousin Sonko Carter online. We headed over to Larz and Ziggy's house warming party then since we were already in beach wear, I suggested we go to a surfing sim after the party.

We found a really cool Hawaii style sim and had great surf waves. It was Sonko's first time and I swear he was a pro. This is an activity if you never tried it then you should. I been doing it for years on SL and many times in RL. Just open search when you are in SL and under places tab with any category selected, type in surfing and some great places comes up. Here are some pics of our fun posted here. After all was said in done I filled in for Vortmax at Warehouse Plaza party. Well there is my Sunday in a nutshell...See y'all on the Grid hooo!!
